I am starting to design a crocheted wreath for my family and am working on another test knit for MMario called Xanadu. I do have another project that is on hold until I decide what to do with it. I haven't done any spinning in a long time and am debating about picking up my spindles in November and work on it.

Here is a pic of Mr. MacGregor

Victorian Caroler Wall Hanging

I haven't gotten the other pattern ready to be posted yet, but will work on it when I get a chance.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-426235254575636530.post-82138817835884925832011-06-01T07:52:00.000-07:002011-06-01T07:57:08.669-07:00WIP BustingSo far this year, I have mainly been wip busting so I can get everything off the needles. I am hoping to have nothing on the needles by August 2oth so I can cast a new item on while I am on vacation.

I am still working on Mr. MacGregor by MMario, pattern is at his yahoo group: MMarioKKnits. I also have a Victorian Carolers Wall Hanging going on and I can't remember the person who wrote this pattern. I am hoping to get both of these projects completed before I leave. I also need to finish getting a pattern that I started working on finished so people can have access to it. I have a lot to do in a couple months, but I know I can do it.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-426235254575636530.post-30736637224681206312010-10-20T18:24:00.000-07:002010-10-20T18:31:42.249-07:00Most recent activitiesI know it has been a very long time since I have posted here. I have forgotten about my blog and that is why.

I have add another breed this past year to my rabbitry. I now raise Jersey Woolies as well as my English Angoras. I enjoy my rabbits very much. I am going to start looking for a new EA buck this fall as mine went sterile from injuries suffered from a dog attack in February 2009.

For crafts, I have done a lot of knitting and not that much crocheting until just recently. I have knitted shawls in the past couple of years. My most recent crochet projects are Christmas gifts for my family in WA state. I also have a knitted lace scarf on the needles as well as a shawl. I am still working on the pot holders for my family.

I will try and keep this up to date better.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-426235254575636530.post-24684990388752677512008-11-09T15:26:00.001-08:002008-11-09T15:36:04.791-08:00What I want to get done before end of yearI am still working on the first crocheted pot holder. I am about half way done with it now. I am hoping to get it done before Christmas so we can use them.

I also am working on a crocheted Ruffled Wreath. The pattern is from Our Best Christmas Thread Crochet. I am using Aunt Lydia's size 10 crochet cotton. I have one ball of cream and two balls of green. I hope I can get back to work on it soon so I can have it ready for Christmas this year.

I ripped out the shawl I was working on since I made a mistake and couldn't figure out where it was made. I don't have any shawls on the needles right now, but I hope I can get one on early next year.

I am also working on improving my spindle spinning right now. I am using some natural brown roving my mom let me have to improve my spinning skills. I hope I can get them up by next year so I can enjoy spinning angora fiber that I will be getting from my rabbits.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-426235254575636530.post-35502101836947787152008-05-18T10:12:00.000-07:002008-05-18T10:21:09.607-07:00Latest ProjectsI frogged the baby blanket since I didn't like the way it was turning out. I don't know what I am going to do with that yarn at the moment but I will figure it out.

I am working on crocheting potholders at the moment. I am still working on the first one and I am taking my time with it. It is out of Peaches N Cream and the color is Earth tones. I like the way it is turning out so far. I will post a picture as soon as I get the first one done. The pattern is from: http://www.mielkesfarm.com/diagonal_hotpad.htm.

I am also knitting a shawl for myself. I am using Brown Sheep's Cotton Fleece and the color of the one skein is Sedona Red. I have to buy more yarn when I am ready for it. Only way to get the pattern is by joining the list. The list name is MMarioKKnits. The group is really nice too. What I have seen so far, his patterns are very easy to understand.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-426235254575636530.post-6594645373325962982008-01-07T12:28:00.000-08:002008-01-07T12:36:03.935-08:00What I've been working onI made an tree top angel for the Christmas tree last year. I had her finished in time for Christmas and that made me happy. I don't have a picture up yet, but will get one up as soon as possible.

Right now I am working on a simple square baby blanket that will go to my aunt and uncle. It is being made out of baby terry yarn that was given to us. I am hoping to have it finished by the end of February so we can get it mailed to them.

I also am working on making a strap for a dog harness. I hope to get it finished soon, but not in a real hurry at the moment. It is being made out of some bright green cotton/acrylic sock yarn that was given to my family.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-426235254575636530.post-49587162174220238562007-07-03T11:38:00.000-07:002007-07-03T11:46:29.459-07:00Projects in WorksI have finished the pair of socks I was working on last week. The only problems is that they don't fit anyone. It took almost a year to complete the pair of socks.

I started another shawl about two weeks ago. I have one more repeat before I start the border for it. It is out of handspun Alpaca/silk blend plied with merino dyed willow green from Wilton's cake dye. The pattern I am using for it is "Alix's Lacy Prayer Shawl" from Debbie McComber's new book "Back On Blossom Street". I hope to get it done when I get home.

I will be going out on the road with my dad for about a month. I will be taking a pair of socks for me and a baby blanket that I will give to Helping Hands. I am looking forward to having time with my dad.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-426235254575636530.post-6493831729431498742007-06-12T05:50:00.000-07:002007-06-12T06:17:59.414-07:00What I'm working onI started cardweaving yesterday. I found that it is very easy once everything is setup. I made a simple bookmark for my first project. Here is a pic of it:

I am still working on a shawl that I started last year. I haven't started the lace section of it yet. I am doing the "Wool Peddler's Shawl" out of gray Peruvian Highland wool. I am also still knitting on the second sock of a pair that I started last July.

I am working on a crocheted backpack for my sister. I started it once and ripped it out and started over using two strands of yarn. I hope to get it done by the end of the month.

I have a blanket that I am going to crochet for a friend when I get the yarn. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about the yarn for it yet.CraftyWabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12717899119488626874noreply@blogger.com0
