I have finished the pair of socks I was working on last week. The only problems is that they don't fit anyone. It took almost a year to complete the pair of socks.
I started another shawl about two weeks ago. I have one more repeat before I start the border for it. It is out of handspun Alpaca/silk blend plied with merino dyed willow green from Wilton's cake dye. The pattern I am using for it is "Alix's Lacy Prayer Shawl" from Debbie McComber's new book "Back On Blossom Street". I hope to get it done when I get home.
I will be going out on the road with my dad for about a month. I will be taking a pair of socks for me and a baby blanket that I will give to Helping Hands. I am looking forward to having time with my dad.

What I'm working on
I started cardweaving yesterday. I found that it is very easy once everything is setup. I made a simple bookmark for my first project. Here is a pic of it:
I am still working on a shawl that I started last year. I haven't started the lace section of it yet. I am doing the "Wool Peddler's Shawl" out of gray Peruvian Highland wool. I am also still knitting on the second sock of a pair that I started last July.
I am working on a crocheted backpack for my sister. I started it once and ripped it out and started over using two strands of yarn. I hope to get it done by the end of the month.
I have a blanket that I am going to crochet for a friend when I get the yarn. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about the yarn for it yet.
